Anti-Whip Safety Cables

When operating hose assemblies in excess of 40 Bar, Anti-whip safety cables should be adopted to prevent injury to operators and equipment in the event of failure.

Aeroflex has developed a range of options to secure hose assemblies and equipment in the event of a hose whip whilst in service. Depending on the application, safety cables can be secured to end fittings, anchor points on manifolds or cylinders/connectors to ensure the potential force of a hose failure is contained and minimise risk.

Cable extensions are also available to modify or enhance current installations to best suit the safety requirements of an installation.
